Bright By Text Partners with United Way of Wisconsin

This collaboration will allow us to provide expert tips, games, and child development information directly to parents and caregivers via our national parent texting program

Bright by Text is excited to announce it has partnered with United Way of Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization supporting families and communities of Wisconsin. Through this collaboration Bright By Text will provide expert tips, games, and child development information to parents and caregivers via our national parent texting program.

Through Bright by Text, parents and caregivers will receive 2 to 4 text messages per week that cover a wide range of topics, including brain development, health and wellness, STEM, safety, and more. Our expert content is developed in partnership with renowned organizations like PBS, Vroom, Sesame Street, CDC, and others to ensure that families with children aged prenatal to age eight receive the best possible resources and support.

Additionally, Bright by Text includes messages about information and resources specific to Wisconsin communities, such as digital library resources, food pantries, and preschool open enrollment periods. Community organizations across Wisconsin will work with local United Ways to submit information about services and resources available to families and children.

We are thrilled to work with United Way of Wisconsin and its partners to positively impact the lives of families and children across the state. Our program is proven to build nurturing caregiver-child relationships and positively impact a child’s healthy development and school readiness.

To sign up for Bright by Text, parents and caregivers with children under eight can text the word BADGER to 274448. Our program is free and available to all families.

Bright by Text shares tips and info just for you: based on your child's age and where you live.
